BELIEVE ME, THEY’RE WATCHING

You never know who you’re helping.

You may think your efforts are going unnoticed but they’re not.

Of course, it works the other way round.

Yesterday, hoping I wouldn’t notice most likely, my ex liked a tweet of mine and then withdrew the like. It was a teeny bit of a jolt but quite funny really. After four and half years to-ing and fro-ing, to hearing nothing and then childishly liking a post and running away. It shows how much he valued our time ‘together’ – not a lot.

These days, I am being far more ruthless (or maybe we can say selective) about who I invest my time in. I notice a lot that I’ll be in mid-flow conversation with someone (online this is) and they’ll just vanish, no “thanks for the chat”, no “I have to go now”, just vanish. It’s really odd.

Somehow we’ve become spies rather than envoys. I believe there’s a sort of twisted honesty to people just exiting without pretending they’re really interested.

We’re experiencing a massive shift in consciousness and most just aren’t equipped to ride with it.

Do what you can do.
