There’s a really sweet lad I follow on Twitter, we follow each other in fact and he’s very supportive of my work.
He tweeted something the other day, something I see a lot that inspired this post.
They say that the best revenge to your doubters is to be successful. This is a passive stance. There is a need to motivate oneself outside of oneself. It’s always about proving people wrong, it’s always about overcoming objections. It’s not the way I do things.
I am fundamentally inspired by a need for goodness, vengeance of any kind is a poison to the system. You can’t feel resentment and be good. You can’t feel anger and be good, it’s always a submissive position.
Do the right things for the right reasons.
