We might call it marketing.
We might refer to it as outreach (too Americanised for me, haha!)
We might call it research.
But really, when building a business it really comes down to conversation – talking with people, figuring out what their problems are and giving them tools and support to solve them.
And, of course, there’s scale. It starts 1-to-1 often but when I worked with one of my coaches, Rich Waterman, he introduced the 1-to-1 or 1-to-many distinction.
Of course, most are too afraid to talk with people.
It’s not just an e-mail or a DM, it’s branching out and embodying independence.
Freedom is frightening, it means no excuses.
But imagine a life unfulfilled, that is truly terrifying!
