IT’S NEVER ABOUT WHAT IT’S ABOUT.

I’ve been watching lots of different YouTubery this morning.

I ended up watching a clip from the end of the film ‘Aliens’ and the top comment referred to Sigourney Weaver’s performance that “She should have won the Oscar for best actress. She shines throughout this whole film.”

I decided to reply “winning an Oscar is not about acting ability.” and it lead me to find out who did, in fact, beat her to the Oscar.

Now, bear in mind this was 1987. We believe the whole virtue-signalling, DEI crap is a recent phenomenon. Nope! The winner was the first deaf actress to win an Oscar.

We have been checking boxes for decades, centuries probably…maybe even millennia. It’s only when you start to notice we’ve been dealing with corruption and inversion for far longer than we thought that the truthfulness of ‘there’s nothing new under the sun’ truly makes sense. It can be disillusioning, anger-making too.

Leo DiCaprio has always been a fabulous actor, the very best. People assume the powers that be caved to give him the golden statue because he was SO good in The Revenant. In reality, the vast majority fail to understand he was publicly anointed for his willingness to bow down to the bullshit climate change idolatry.

It’s never about what it’s about.

There’s the story and there’s the reality. The narrative is what holds you down, the truth is what sets you free.

In the personal development sphere, people will often ask “what’s your story?” I don’t believe in that. Ask instead “what’s your history?” What’s in your back catalogue? What’s the stuff you’ve done? What are the things that have actually happened?

Your story is what’s meant to be unravelled, understood and discarded.

See the illusion of what you’ve been told and start to educate yourself, to lead out what’s already there.
