On my way back from my Chatsworth meander yesterday, I happened upon this envelope. Someone had laid it down at the far side of a bridge I sometimes cross over a beautiful brook. It’s a quiet, contemplative spot for a prolonged reflection, not just in the water but of life.
I am the kind of man to see these gifts, these anomalies. So I picked it up and, when no one was watching, I opened it up and read it.
Now, sadly, my mum’s older sister died yesterday, it was expected as she was very ill but it is still a shock and upsetting.
Interestingly, it’s almost like the person who left this card knew that someone NEEDED to see it and that person was me.
Sweet.
Goodbye Anita, sleep well.
