Dannii Minogue, the singer, screamed as modern buildings collapsed and I stood on, thinking it was good they were razing to the ground.

I bought myself a fancy coffee press yesterday, I’ve wanted to buy it for ages as when I moved back up North I bought the accompanying teapot and now the set is complete. Most satisfying. I drank real coffee from it this morning and the ritual felt grand and simultaneously simple.
